Residents and staff have been very busy preparing for the Christmas period ahead, making decorations and going out on shopping trips to buy more decorations.
Sue O’Neil (Activities Coordinator) and Pat Amos (Administrator) have been particularly busy building our Christmas Grotto.
The Grotto will be opened on the 5th December when the local school children will visit to sing carols to residents and staff at 11:00. They will be receiving small chocolate gifts from Father Christmas after the singing.
On the 19th December our residents Christmas party will take place, 14:30 – 16:30, we have Mal Coote singing Christmas carols and party music, Father Christmas will arrive in his sleigh, and take up residence in the Grotto for the afternoon, all family and friends are invited to partake of a little festive sherry and mince pies. Children are welcome to come along to see Father Christmas, if their parents wish them to receive a small gift from Father Christmas they need to give this to Pat Amos (wrapped with a tag on) beforehand please.
20th December 14:30 the sherry and mince pies will be out at 14:30 when Mrs Willicombe and family will be singing Christmas Carols with the residents and staff.
