Welcome to The Chace

Our Malvern care home The Chace provides care and accommodation to 41 residents at any time whose primary care needs are age-related, and for people living with dementia.

All residents will undergo an assessment to ensure we are able to meet their needs, our service will provide support which encourages personal growth and development, we aim to encourage and promote motivation and independence.

All residents will have their own digital care plan which will be compiled with the resident, their family members and professionals.

Our care plans will detail the requirements of the individual, this will include daily tasks, activities, personal requirements, risk assessments and their likes and dislikes. Each person will have the opportunity to discuss their wishes with the visiting GP or advanced nurse practitioner.

The home was established in 1983 by the previous provider and Springcare have added the home to their portfolio in September 2023. We will be adding our own touches to the home over the next few months and we will keep everyone updated as and when any changes occur. The home is situated in and around the beautiful Malven Hills.

The original building dates back to 1750 and was the Duke of Worcester’s country manor house. The Chace was a famous breeding ground for the Duke’s horses but has been modernised over the years into the Care Home of today.

The home is managed by Angelina Hristeva who has worked at The Chace since 2006.

Angelina commenced her employment as a senior care assistant then promoted to deputy manager in 2015 and latterly as the registered manager. Angelina has a level 5 in leadership in health ad social care and a diploma in general nursing.

My name is Angelina and I am the Manager at The Chace in Malvern. Let me tell you a little about myself. I came to England 17 years ago from a small country in Europe. I have dedicated 15 years to The Chace. I like to travel, cook, look after my garden and bonsai trees when I am not at work. Before I came to England I worked as a general nurse in a hospital for 16 years. I strive for quality in all aspects of the home and I am proud to lead the team to achieve excellence in care for our residents.
