Welcome to Weston House Care Home

Weston House is one of Springcare’s residential homes and is situated near the centre of the small market town of Whitchurch, Shropshire. The home is a large three storey building which dates back to Georgian times.

Attractive architectural features include wood panelling, a stained glass window and a striking main staircase. There are three communal lounges, a conservatory and two dining rooms. The building has been sympathetically converted and retains its large elegant rooms with high ceilings.

There is lift access to the upper floor. To the rear of the property is a small garden which provides a lovely outside space for the use of residents. The home is within easy walking distance of local shops and other amenities for residents wishing to get out and about.

Weston House prides itself on its friendly and professional atmosphere. We also cater for daycare.

All service users will undergo an assessment to ensure we are able to meet their needs, our service will provide support which encourages personal growth and development, we aim to encourage and promote motivation and independence. All service users will have their own care plan which will be compiled with the service users, their family members and professional bodies. Our care plans will detail the requirements of the individual, this will include daily tasks, activities, personal requirements, risk assessments and their likes and dislikes. Each service user will have the opportunity to discuss their wishes with their General Practitioner.

Accommodation is in either single or shared rooms, a number of which have en-suite facilities.

Weston House recently welcomed Rikky Gray as their new home Manager.

Rikky is incredibly passionate about personalised quality care and over the years, has acquired a wide range of experience in Community care, independent living, EMI, Nursing and Residential Care.
